Paws trailed along the bank. Feeling the gentle, almost spongy, grass beneath her toes. An obsidian pelt seemed to blend in with the shadows of the night. Maroon eyes caught and illuminated with the rays of the moonlight. Her tail simply hung behind her, deadly spikes piercing up from her flesh and raced up all the way to the middle of her shoulder blades; and couldn't forget about the two horns behind her ears. It sickened her, everytime she looked at her reflection in the water, to see such things being part of her. She was a monster, why not? She was no longer a simple wolf, but one with...these spikes. A heavy sigh escaped her muzzle as she stopped and once more turned her half-opened gaze to the water. She stared at the ivory spikes on her. Damn those humans, damn them straight to hell! Fangs bared and in a flash she snapped her jaws at the water causing her image to ripple and disperse.

She fell against the ground there, muzzle still in the water and eyes tightly held shot. What was worse was they way her elder sister looked at her in a pity-giving way. She hated it. She didn't need their pity, she didn't need them worrying about her state of mind as she knew here sister and probably others were. Sure she had almost fled from the pack, had been so close to leave until Gnaxtagonel came and...said those words that never left her mind. She pulled her head back from the water as her lungs burned for air taking a deep gasping breath. She refused to look at her reflection again and simply laid her head on the edge of the bank, her nose just barely skimming the water. She had not had anything to do with the pack the past few days, kept to herself and was quick to hid among her shadows when an Exodian got to close.

She hated this. Hated acting this way so much. It was only yesterday when she was enjoying socializing with the pack, leading them on hunts, conversing with Vixen and Nixti. But now here she was, purposely avoiding the pack and even her close friends. Hell she even kept her distance from Gnaxtagonel. She could feel the back of her eyes burn with tears that were waiting to be shed as a knot formed in the back of her throat. She gritted her jaws vowing not to break down.

Had it been any other time, the obsidian pelted femora would have refused the rabbit. Although her stomach gave a deep grumble of hunger, and she knew better than to think Gnaxtag would let it go and not force her to eat it. She closed her eyes a moment as he nuzzled her before he spoke. She grinned again resting her head on the ground and eying the rabbit. "Well thank you then." She simply lay there for a moment, feeling Gnaxtag's warmth against her side and made sure she didn't shift in a way that would bring those abnormalities down to harm Gnaxtag. Finally hunger overwhelmed her as the scent of blood kept wafting into her nostrils.

She shifted a moment before dragging the rabbit closer with a paw and slid her tongue over a bleeding wound caused from Gnaxtag's fangs. She hadn't figured she had been so hungry as she now felt after on simple taste of the blood. She bit into the rabbit, tearing a nice chunk of meat out of it before she simply plopped her head back down and lazily began to chew on her chunk. She wasn't going to eat it all if Gnaxtag wanted some, she would be just fine with the piece in her mouth.

Satori chuckled at him before shaking her head. "I'm not that hungry, Gnaxtag..." She said as she simply lay there with her eyes closed. Though it was totally untrue, she just didn't feel like eating. She knew eventually this depression was going to run her down more than she already was, but she wasn't willingly fighting it. Simply accepting it as days came and went. Why did it matter if she didn't eat anyways? Or even drink everyday when it was probably needed. Oh man, if Gnaxtagonel knew she was abusing her body like this she had no doubt he'd probably get upset with her

She opened her eyes for a moment in thought. It had been a long while since she seen Aiyasha or even her pups, but still even if she missed them she hated the way Aiya looked at her in...sympathy. Damnit, she didn't need peoples sympathy! She sat up in a quicker motion then she had intended and managed to make her head spin with dizzyness before she shook it off. She frowned at the river. Why? Their sympathy only made it worse. Why couldn't they just look at her like they use to always do, before she had these oddities.

"It's nothing," She smiled at him as she turned her gaze toward the river. Though, the smile faultered when a scent crossed her attention and her gaze shifted to watch as a she-wolf crossed the river. She smelled like Vixen and instantly Satori know who she was. Quietly she watched the fae, using her as an excuse not to give Gnaxtagonel an answer. Tilting her head in thought for a moment she observed Vixen's pup. She seemed lost in her own thoughts and Satori wasn't going to break that concentration. Who was she to butt into her privacy anyhow.

Shaking it off, she turned her gaze from Persephone and looked down at her paws almost thoughtfully once more. She frowned before getting up to her paws. Glancing at Gnaxtag for a moment Satori moved to cross the river and stepped a bit closer to the femora, but made sure to give Persephone her space. Now what? Satori hadn't even bothered to think of what to say. She didn't know Persephone personally, she only heard the stories. She did know that Vixen had been looking everywhere for her, but wasn't about to tell Vix her pup was just a few feet away. It would be very wrong on her part.

"Hey, what brings you here?" She asked gently, just leisurely making small talk. Satori didn't know what Seph might be going through, she had never personally been raised by another only to find out another femora was her real birth mother. She sat back on her haunches as she flicked an ear about ignoring the feeling of water dripping off her now wet pelt.
