Wind howled through trees, spread it's fingers through an ebony pelt that danced to it's tune. Pants disturbed the once silent night, sending warm breath against the cool night air to crystalize into view. Paws flew over the terrain as maroon gems pierced the darkness in anxiousness. She was after something, more rather; someone. The weariness in her body was ignored and she was to the point that she was cursing herself for putting herself in such a weakened state of ill-nourishment.

She hadn't even been running that long, yet she was to the point where her body was just going to drop on her. Ivory bones glinted in the full-mooned light in an eary manner, flickering to life when they found more moon light after retreating some shadows. They had aggrivated her and disgusted her at the same time, the odd protrusion from her back down to a couple inches from the tip of her tail and from behind her ears. Once always blending in completely with what she was, Shadows, she now could not. The ivory of his deformations always making her somewhat seeable to others.

Cold wind caressed her parted muzzle, drying her chops yet she didn't care. She had to get to him, she hadn't been able to find him for awhile and she was concerned as to where he was going and why he was on the Pack Boundries. Surely he wasn't going to go fight...-

The she-wolf shook her head desperately, almost managing to knock herself over as her muscles tensed and stretched, pushing her over the land in a mad dash. It was odd, this was nothing compared to the speed she knew she could run. She was a runner, loved running, lived to run, but here she was running like a mere pup would. Ears perked forward as the brute's scent began to become more recent.

This was nothing! She was the Honorable wolven of Kriscarath, the winner of their yearly race! She could go faster than this! Satori dug her toes deeper into the earth beneath her as her muscles tightened even more. Dirt flew from beneath her paws as the wind grew and rushed by her in a greater pace. Something sparked in Satori, something she had been missing for a long while now. How could she have ever misplaced such a feeling of freedom? Maroon eyes brightened a little as the she-wolf raced along the ground, hunting the brute she was searching for. She felt like the wind again and nothing could stop her, not fatigue, or anything else! She was going to get to him and she was going to find out what was going through that blasted brute's mind.

She hadn't felt alive in months. The wind caressed her fur like it use to do when she ran every day. Brought so much life back too her once weary limbs, eased her once ragid breathing. Her eyes glowed brightly with the moon's ray's, glimmering with life once more; not an ounce of depression to show behind their maroon gems. How could she had let herself fall so far as to forget the feeling she got when running? A quick shake of her head, Satori bounced to the right mid-step and sprinted faster. He was getting closer, or...perhaps he had stopped.

Paws beat against the ground, causing noise and giving her position away; she didn't care. Let someone try to stop her from reaching him. Just let them try. She would show them how much a monster she could be. Her breath crystalized in front of her and she vaguely remembered paying attention to it as a dark form began to show up.

Her heart pounded anxiously once more as she found her sped rather fast. She dug her back paws into the earth and she went sliding across the ground causing a divet in the ground. She yelped when she went rushing right by her target sending dirt and debree flying in her wake before she stumbled and rolled across the ground and finally ended up on her stomach with her legs stretched out each direction. She remained there for a moment trying to regain herself as her muscles quivered in fatigue her running had once made her forget about.

Finally shaking it off she pushed herself up to her paws with a shake of her fur before bringing her maroon eyes up to look at the brute she had been after. "Gnaxtagonel...." She murmured as she just watched him. She was so eager to know why he was here, what he was thinking and planning on doing. She remained standing there, oblivious to her shaking body or her heaving breathing.

What was she doing here? What...was she doing. She should be asking him that! She gave a slight huff, but none-the-less a smile tugged slightly at her muzzle as she shifted and stood up fully. "I could...be asking you that Gnax," There was a teasing note in her voice, yet it coated over one that was more anxious to know of his intentions at the Bounderies. Her stance was a mixture of being calm and being tense. She knew being out here on the bounderies could become quite chaotic if you crossed paths with the wrong wolf, so she knew better than to be letting her guard down even if she was with another wolf.

So now what? What could she possibly say now? Other than bluntly asking what the hell he was thinking coming out here. It wasn't as if he was officially part of the Exodian's...or officially her mate, so why was it any concern of hers? She had a simple answer for a meager question as that; she loved him. Oh, how she had fallen head over paws for that brute. Yet she knew she had been acting rather cruel with trying to push him away just like she had been doing with everyone else in the pack.

And when he had left her at the river that day, he had gone not happy and left her guilt ridden. Finally with a sigh she trotted over to him, and mindful of her horns, pushed her muzzle beneath his chin and nuzzled him at the base of his neck, "I'm sorry.." she murmured quietly. She had to apologize. she knew she had probably hurt him and before she decided to dive headfirst into his personal business she thought it better to do that first.
